The 54th Annual Silver Mittens Tournament kicks off in Lowell, Massachusetts! Tournament Director Art Ramalho says the Mittens are a feeder for the Golden Gloves. The tournament draws kids between the ages of 8 and 16 from all over New England. It gives them an opportunity to get their first chance and box in the ring against opponents.
